So we had a great weekend. And it started out with a really nice note home from Ms. Gen Ed teacher.
(Bad Mommy for not having a copy of the good stuff the teacher wrote!!) It stated that they were so proud of Kiddo that he has been having really good days. Lots of consistency and doing all of his work when requested. That he has been working on his personal writing project and has written 2 full pages and started on his 3rd. And that he has been very cooperative. Well Hallelujah! And way to go Kiddo!! Im so proud of him because i know how difficult all of that is for him. Way to go!!! Keep up the good work :). <3
WOOT and way to go Kiddo!!! Joel got student of the week last week for working hard and cooperating with his teachers. So nice to occasionally get a good note instead of all the negative drivel we used to get from the public school.

Thats awesome Trecia!!!! Congrats Joel! :) <3 Keep up the awesome work. Ya know I make a big deal about the good stuff. But Im careful to tell him that no matter what kind of day it was I still love him anyways. I think for a while he had gotten it in his head that if he didnt have a good day, it meant we didnt love him as much. :( They are so literal, everything is so on or off. its like, "If Im good they love me, if I wasn't so good they wont love me".... broke my heart to realize that he was thinking that way... So now I just tell him no matter what the notes say Im gonna love him anyways.
